Mark of Safety – Ezekiel 9:6

Much a do, about the quest to eradicate childhood killer diseases as well as reduce drastically the rate of infant mortality rate , by UNICEF in collaboration with some other corporate organizations mobilized resources for the development of vaccines to be administered to children. Although the cost of production of these vaccines is enormous, they have been made available free of charge to many developing nations where these killer diseases are prevalent..

Ezekiel 9: 6 says Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple.

But the decision to take the vaccines for protection of ones child is always voluntary. Available statistics have shown however that the consequences have been fatal for parents and nations who rejected the vaccines. So, it is with salvation from sin; God provides it free for those who care for it, but there is damnation for those who reject it.

The passage gives clear record of Gods command for the inhabitants of Jerusalem as punishment for their sins and abomination. The order to destroy was without prejudice to sex, age and status. This reveals the fact that Gods judgement for sin, whenever it comes is always total, without any extraneous considerations.

Only the mark of the blood of Jesus can qualify us to escape Gods judgement. Regular church attendance, position held in the church and our busy activities with the work of God are not a guarantee for safety. As believer we ought to avoid carelessness in our walk with God. So

The small gate.

When Jesus say let not your heart be troubled. Sometimes, I hear people worry about the state of the nations. I am like why should I worry, the inevitable is going to happen no matter how much we try to delay it. So, I better prepare my mind for what is to come. All that i can do, is done and being done.. to tarry the time, Ultimately it boils down to this two scripture:

Matthew 7: 14

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Matthew 20: 16

16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

One may slow the times, some may turn back the hands of times like Hezekiah and the queen of the south. But ultimately, the time will arrive, it cannot be but delayed any longer.

What I am certain of is the masters return is imminent and it is better to prepare, than worry. In the words of CeCe Winans, everyone wants candy bars, until we know the price it cost. One startling truth is if the blood of the sacrifice Jesus made for us, is not enough for us no other sacrifice can do. Afterall, God has shown man his own way, but they went in search for other ways. Ecclesiastes 7: 29.

The accuser of the brethren Revelation 12: 10

One of the things I have come to realize is there is none who does good. Not one, the very thing we accuse others of is exactly what’s in us. Its easy to tell others to remove the speck from ours eyes, but have you finish removing that from yours. There pastors who do witchcraft and manipulate scripture and do a bit of good thus say they are righteous and then accuse, beat their brethren.
Truly, there is none who does good, not one.

Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; One person twist lie, the next adds his or her flair and adds their own lie and the accuser the brethren. Find out the truth for yourself.

As of 2022, I was threatened that I’d be fired from my job; a continuous abuse, so I quit my job in my country, and someone conveniently claimed i was obsessed with my work. late last year I received an email asking me to sign a quote for sexual harassment and I decided I will not. Today, Senator Natasha, is claiming the senate chairman is harassing her and bullying her. It is not possible to hide truth for long it seems. And it is not possible to cover truth.

Since 2022, I’d been without a job and yet they say a job is taking my time from God, i’m like really. Do not do the work of the devil: for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.

Truth is light and you should not do the work of the devil, by accusing people wrongly and anyone who joins in this will surely reap what they sow. God is not mocked.

His Return and our Hope – Hebrew 10: 35 -38

Hebrew 10: 37

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come; and will not tarry.

It was Thomas fuller, a 17th century English theologian, who stated, “It is always the darkest before the dawn”. This statement implies that situations often witness a positive turn around just when they seem to be at the worst stage”. A new ray of hope is lit, and unfolding , events begin to heal debilitating effects of dark times.

While there are boundless opportunities for us. we put our confidence in God and hope in him. we simply hold onto Gods promises for our lives, even though things look bleak.

Fishers of Men – John 21

10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”

“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”

16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

Today, we had the communion just as is every first Sunday of the month. And in the middle of the communion, I knew it was the Lord with us that the breaking of bread and wine. The great commission we have is to do whatever it takes, fish till the net can catch big fish so all efforts to evangelize, preach the word of God must not cease. And as with Simon we ought to feed his lamb. Sometimes, I smile, we don’t have lambs anymore; we have people who have lost their way more than people who are lamb. Nevertheless, we are to preach.

Blameless and Innocent – Psalm 119, Acts 20

Psalm 119 vs 1 Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.

Paul was one who walked for God bringing the gospel of salvation. In Acts 20, he was to move from Ephesus to Macedonia and then Troas without staying long in Asia.

On this occasion where he went to meet fellow Christians, someone almost died as he talked through midnight; Eutychus who was the window, fell and almost died. But Paul assured them he still had a little life in him. Eutychus in Greek means fortunate or lucky one. Sometimes, its timely intervention we need to save a life else if Paul was not there who know what would have happen.

Paul further saying his goodbye to the Elder of the church in Ephesus, he was leaving to Jerusalem. This is especially why I wrote this verse today, to say Thank you, to those helping me, praying for me and supporting me. I pray the lord will strengthen you in accord to the good you do reward you faithfully.

For those who served the Lord with great humility and with tears and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents. And have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to us but have taught you publicly. I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus. I say thank you.

As with Paul, I know none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you. For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.

Blameless and Innocent is where we leave it at when we preach the gospel of peace. As truly, I am off to Jerusalem (Jerusalem” is believed to mean “the foundation of peace” or “city of peace,” derived from the Hebrew words “Yireh” (meaning the Lord will provide) and “Shalem” (meaning peace)). Thank you for building the gate, for your patience as well as where the plan of God is concerned. Shalom.

The words of the preacher: whom have we hanged today. Matthew 27

To show partiality is not good, though a person may do wrong for a crust of bread. Proverbs 28: 21
One who dips his bread in the dish with me will betray me. International Standard Version … Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I give this morsel after I have dipped it. Matthew 26: 23

And they took 30 pieces of silver, the price of him on whom a price had been set by some of the SON OF ISRAEL.

IT is funny that the people who betrayed Jesus, where his own people. The people who bite the most morsel out of us are our own people. No wonder Jesus saith a mans enemy’s will be of his own household. It was not only the jealousy of the religious leaders against Jesus it was also a matter of bread and betrayal that hanged Jesus.

Barabbas or Jesus who is called Christ? the religious leaders were asked who they would save and they chose the notorious sinner Barabbas in place of Christ. And we know where Israel has been since this occurrence. Pilate smartly said ‘I wash my hands off this mans blood’. Jesus was delivered up to be crucified.

When we look in the mirror we have to ask who are we crucifying unjustly, when the weights of balance are unjust, we do not pay for it now we pay for it later. Yes, Jesus was stripped off his robe and a scarlet robe was placed on him. to indicate his taken on of our sins. Then his clothe was placed back on him, thorns was placed on his head, whose head have you placed thorns on, they mocked him, stripped him. Whom have you mocked and stripped naked unjustly, they compelled Simon the Cyrene to take up his cross. At Golgotha, they gave him wine to drink, mixed gall but he did not drink, they cast lot and divided his garment (Matthew 27: 35), they kept watched over Jesus. Over his head, they put “This is Yeshua, the king of Jews” with two robbers, people shook their heads, saying destroy the temple and rebuild it in 3 days, save yourself’ if you are son of God. Darkness fell on the face of the earth.

The chief priest mocked he cannot save himself, he is the king of Israel; let him come down from the cross and we will believe him. Whom have we hanged today?

The role of a Pastor – 1 Timothy 3

Paul writes to timothy to encourage him in his role. he gave this advice to timothy concerning the arrangement and order of the church, given this was the church of Ephesus to help guide the church as is still relevant today.

He begins and I quote:

3 Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. 2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a] respect. 5 (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. 7 He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.

In the same way, deacons[b] are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.

The bible here says if a man is to aspire to the position of a pastor he should be blameless. That is having only transgression, no iniquity. So, these are tough choice but it is the standard right. And fair is fair in life. On this note, I drop my post off.

House of Chloe – Psalm 115 vs 1, Romans 16: 17

I hear that there are contentions among you in Paul’s voice. Is Christ divided among us. God is faithful and he has chosen the base things of this world the despised things to bring to nought things that are: So, no flesh would glory in his presence.

Brethren, I did not come unto you with excellency of speech or wisdom. For I determine not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. My preaching and speech are not with enticing words of men, but in the power of God.

It is written Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

If I have PLANTED and Apollos watered but God increase. So, neither planted anything but God gave the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and everyone shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

For we are laborers, together with God, ye are Gods husbandry, ye are Gods building. Everyman’s work will be revealed when tested in fire. So, let envying, strife and division cease.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and there be no division among you. But ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind in the same judgement.

A Quest for Justice – John 7: 1, Psalm 94

Matthew 24:7-8

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

What I see every day is a question of Gods justice. As I have applied my mind to understanding, there is no absolute justice in this world. why, may you ask? Because of God sovereignty and his will? 2) God has to do justice and show mercy 3) if he judges everything here on earth, there would be nothing to judge in heaven.

The nation of Isreal had to fall for Nebuchadnezzars empire to rise. The nation of Isreal is God chosen nation and people after all. Nebuchadnezzars foundation the now Grecian to European empire had to rise in its stead, what did it do to get it? Nothing. And now the other gentile nation is getting gifts from God. An indication that the fall of the EU is near, and Isreal is going to be restored to its kingship but within another nation. The foundation of some nations will be rebuilt. why? because of their sacrifice for the gospel to reach the world. Whilst they may be malfunctioning now because they lost sight of God. It is a promise of restoration from God. As he alone manages to merge justice and mercy together to prove his faithfulness.

I heard a former president Ebele Jonathan Goodluck say that Americans meddled with his election and made him loose his elections. They gave him wrong advice and he sought retribution it seems. I taught he was more mature that but apparently, we learn everyday don’t we.

As nations use another nation to fight against each other, to get closer to power; obviously nothing just happens. Everything happens for a reason, and we continue to see it unfold especially over the next 3 years. Isreal is like Gods special child right so if he goes prodigal, God will still judge it and us. It is that truly we all have fault somewhere and are not fit to claim full justice over anyone. But they people use justice as tool to fight indirectly prying on another’s quest for justice.

when you come to take what is yours and you publicly announce it, also the message meant for you will be publicly announced. And you say God is not just, no person realizes that God is just than a vengeful person asks GEJ.
