Daniel 8 – The Vision of the Ram and Goats. Luke 3

Lately, I have been having warnings over the last 3 days of something to happen, Ezekiel 17. 18, Revelations 4 and more recently Daniel 8.

I will dwell on DANIEL 8 today; we have a ram and 2 horns signifying the Kings of Media and Persia. Shaggy goat signifying the kings of Greece where the 4 kingdoms would rise.

In Matthew 24 vs 15

15 “So, when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—

what happened to the sanctuary that caused desolation:

The horns from the 4 prominent horns grew towards the beautiful land. so, a little horn took the place of the 4 horns. How did the desolation occur:

First, they take away the daily sacrifice from the LORD. Daniel 8 vs 12

Psalm 51:17 tells us what the sacrifices of the Lord are a broken spirit and a contrite heart, which implies It means that God is pleased with a heart that is tender, pliable to God’s word, and sorrowful for sin3This is instead of all burnt-offering and sacrifice3The verse is interpreted to mean that God accepts a humble and repentant heart as a sacrifice1.

Luke 3: 8 further buttresses it “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.”

The irony Luke 3 mirrors Ezekiel 18, this daily sacrifice helps us offer worship to the lord, but in Daniel 8: 11 – 12.

1 John 2:18-29 says ” 18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore, we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. 20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. a] 21 I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?”

so we are in the last hour, how do we know: Daniel 8 vs 11-12 says:

It set itself up to be as great as the commander of the army of the Lord; it took away the daily sacrifice from the Lord, and his sanctuary was thrown down. 12 Because of rebellion, the Lord’s people[a] and the daily sacrifice were given over to it. It prospered in everything it did, and truth was thrown to the ground.

so, as we see truth thrown to the ground, antichrists prospering in everything it does, the sanctuary (relating to holiness) you know the desolation Daniel talked about is happening. Also, this is called the falling away or apostacy as they call it. I timothy 4:1 describes this falling away as:

Apostasy in the Bible refers to

  • Turning aside from following Jesus.
  • Denying Jesus after having previously confessed Him as Lord.
  • Falling away from faith under persecution.
  • Denying the deity of Jesus.
  • Living a life of open sin that denies the faith.

so, this would take about 2,300 evenings and mornings – then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated. The church in the west is propounded from the time of Lydia to be about 2,000 years ago when Christianity spread from Greece that gave the four horns.

So, as the work is going on to rebuild a temple, because the lord is near, we are to keep in mind that it speaks of the end as Habakkuk says, the vision speaks of the end as violence increases, we read:

23 “In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise. 24 He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people. 25 He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.

As Matthew 24: 11 – 27

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

So as rebellion that causes desolation rises = surrendering of the sanctuary + trampling underfoot of Gods people, we know it concerns the end. The time of Gods wrath will soon be revealed, I say as it is written:

7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Luke 3: 7
19 He said: “I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath, because the vision concerns the appointed time of the end. Daniel 8: 19

As the wrath of God will soon be revealed, I as Daniel, Fall and Prostrate to the ‘Son of Man’. Desolation is more about the sanctuary of God.

The Vision for the Temple – 1 Chronicles 28.

Some two years ago, I bumped into a medical channel of someone (we would call Mik) who talked with kids, and I was like this is exciting. It would be 8 months later and found another channel talking about Christian stuff and this was disconcerting as I taught, I was because my music suggested to me seemed like it had not been mine for a while before this event (we would call this channel, May) and then the last one but not the least, a true knower of the word but nonetheless joining in the atrocities (we would call this knower Matt).

Each I liked for different reasons it seems, I was physically attracted to the first one, emotionally attracted to the second and mentally attracted to the third. All through finding about these three people and the channels they ran; I discovered they had prior knowledge of my likes and dislikes, and I reasonably knew nothing about them. But I had previously been told as I was reading the scriptures that nations would come to my light before the event happen. As I was discovering that it was a game to get me soaked in? So, I did not pay any attention as I had been warned that the internet was a joke.

Until it became real, with a proposition being sent to me and the funny thing was when I prayed, and God said yes. And I am like, but this person is calling me names; and I read this passage:

Acts 10:13-17 New King James Version 13 And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” 14 But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.” 15 And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has [ a] cleansed you must not call common.” 16 This was done three times.

Its three times for 3 people it seemed. These were wild beast it seemed God wanted me to eat. “He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds.”

Apparently, these where wild men God was asking me to kill and eat. I did not understand until the ordeal of my struggles was to stop. Apparently, the first guy pleaded on my behalf to stop the torment on me and prayed, (by the way he notices everything that I do, riding a bike, crying and even my baby picture but was wild as the other 3). Apparently, these guys were wild as Nebuchadnezzar, and I was to choose and kill them to eat. I did not understand until yesterday, when I read 1 Chronicles 28, that it was not literally to kill them as the term implied it was to choose who would die to self and create a perfect temple. I only just understood what God meant that David had shed innocent blood and could build a temple, but his son had to. So, these 3 guys it would seem had the same outlook as Solomon. I was only to choose one to die to self. And I remembered when the scripture told me: I should choose the 1st guy, who knows if you can change the unbelieving man. The idea from God was that he needed me to choose one to convert and all this while I did not understand; I taught they were trying to play games with me but what God wanted me to do was to choose one to convert. A thing I only just realized because I started realizing since I choose without knowing, the scripture was saying if you must eat, eat in faith but if you don’t eat in faith; it is sin.

I had opened David’s plan for the temple more than 10 times and this morning made it 11, I did not realize that I was to prepare one of Gods son to build a temple not made by hands. God apparently chose Solomon to be his son:

He said to me: ‘Solomon your son is the one who will build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father. 1 Chronicles 28 vs 6.

Solomon is a type of man with many women and these men all fit this description and God wanted me to choose one to give a plan to build a temple with. The irony is about 8 months ago, when all this drama was going on I read a scripture asking me not to marry outside my race and that when Iss, a friend of mine showed up in my life, and I asked him why he had romans 8 on his WhatsApp, he said he prayed. Now, he was more open saying he struggled with same symptoms of the other 3 guys, as well and had a girlfriend with a history going around. So, all 4 where unclean but God was telling me to kill and eat. I have no idea; if I even choose any but he keeps asking me to give a plan, resource to build a temple; a thing I do not know how I can do this. Quite frankly, I’d rather not help any man or give them any plan because Men can be very wicked and making them too wise is not good. AS their carnal nature dominates and sin flows through… seeing ISS reminded me why men are dangerous and even God called them wild beast. Who would trust a beast! Numbers 27:1-11, Joshua 17:3-6

I am reluctantly helping the second one, but for the idea, he can’t see God and a person who cannot see God how he can build a temple for God? so I can only say as David says be strong and do the work; do not be discouraged nor afraid. And I wonder why through this second persons healing process; I was being affected by it; a thing that doesn’t concern me, so I decided to pray for him, and I have been, since if it affects him, it affects me, so I say Solomon be strong and do the work of God. He has chosen you to do the work of God. 1 Chronicles 28: 20. Women have the capacity to render aid, to succor, to give strength – Mon ami this is what strength looks like buried in weakness and raised in strength.

Takeaway

It bothers me that crazy and messed up men can pray to God and he answers them.

Also, one doesn’t have to be holy to get favor.

If it was just easy to give strength to build temple, to succor and render aid because can’t they just get strength for themselves.

I am glad this is over for whatever reason; I am to give a plan for a temple id try my best but not at cost to my well-being or peace. I guess Jacob wrestled with God and prevailed! SELAH!

Apparently, I am to give some details, plan, vessel and resource for someone to build a temple of which I am not humans are greedy but then isn’t everyone.

I guess it’s the one that perseveres to the end that wins! so God wins.

The Pool of Sent – John 9, Acts 9:8-19

The pool of Siloam (sent) is the place Jesus sent the blind man to wash his eyes at. It occurred to me that the pool of Siloam is the place where we are first SENT to evangelize. The man born blind from birth as we all are blind to God from birth, was accused that his parents sinned, and this is why he had sinned, but Jesus clearly said his parents had cannot sinned, but it was for the glory of God to be revealed.

Like us, in Adam all sinned and in Christ all are made alive, it is for the glory of God to be revealed to us. When we are born, we do not see God because of Adams sin and it’s not due to our parent’s sin like science propounds but the sins of Adam. So, Jesus sends the man to the pool of Siloam and in faith he goes.

When we finally begin to see, and people realize this they question if we are the same blind sinner who beg for mercy from the lord. In order, to investigate the healing the pharisees begin to question the formerly blind man, and he explains Jesus is a prophet. But because he broke the law by healing on the sabbath day, they deemed him unfit to be “messiah” and called him a sinner.

When we can see Jesus and get to know his voice, people will still question our motive as it happened with Paul. Though there was a great divide over Jesus, some believed him a sinner and others believed that no one could do this great miracle, if the father did not hear him.

The blind man evangelizes
The blind man was asked twice how he could see and that he was to tell the truth! he proclaims that ‘I was once blind and now I see”.

Then they hurled insults at him and said, “You are this fellow’s disciple! We are disciples of Moses! 29 We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.”

In a way, we are all blind when we are born, even blind about situations and circumstances that happens to and around us, so we need Jesus to open our eyes. This blind man, eyes was open so he could preach Jesus that he was once blind but now he could see and because of this, they hurled insult at him, saying he was Jesus disciples.

Since we are blind from birth, blind to our sins and the nature of sin within us, this is not as a result of our parents’ sins but Adams. Jesus opens our eyes to preach the gospel. Acts 9:8-19. John 9: 32.

Because the man proclaimed the truth of Jesus which the pharisees could not see; the said he was steeped in sin at birth forgetting we all are steeped in sin at birth, and this is it for me; some of us can see our sins and this makes us sorrowful, so we see the need for mercy and cry for mercy; while others can’t, and it multiplies. If we say we have no sin, we lie, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8-9. Because the once blind man replied to the religious leaders, they yelled at him saying, “how dare you reply to us & lecture us and threw him out.

When we evangelize as the blind man who was blind and can now see; we will face a similar opposition, we need the hand of God to open their blind eyes as well as theirs. The bible says in verse 38, that the once blind man still worshipped Jesus, because he believed in Jesus. Jesus thus said this is our judgement:

John 9 vs 39
39 Jesus said, [a] “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

So, he believed Jesus is the son of man, who was speaking to him (verse 37), he believed Jesus was sent from heaven (John 9: 33). Therefore, he was blind and now he sees what about us! We are all SENT to evangelize, once we can see at, the pool of Siloam!

If We Confess Our Sin (1 John 1:8-9 – KJV)

A good or positive Prophecy – 1 Kings 22, Deuteronomy 13

Since there was no war between Aram and Israel. But in the third year; King Jehoshaphat, King of Judah went down to see the king of Israel. So, the king of Israel, Ahab goes to seek for assistance from King Jehoshaphat to take Ramoth Gilead, a part of Samaria which belonged to Israel at the time.

so, he asks will you go with me; King Jehoshaphat responds as Ruth “I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.” But Jehoshaphat also said to the king of Israel, “First seek the counsel of the Lord.”

Ruth says, “Your people will be my people and your God my God”. Ruth 1: 16 – 17

A reverence for God “Your God will be my God” and “First seek the counsel of the Lord” and then for others and oneself, “I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses – I Kings 22 vs 4″ and “your people will be my people – Ruth 1: 16 – 17″.

A fulfillment of the 1st and 2nd commandment, (I) To love the lord is to reverence him, with all your heart, mind and soul. (II) Love your Neighbour as yourself.

Since Jehoshaphat asked the king of Israel to get counsel from the lord. Hence, the King of Israel brought prophets of about 400 men; and they told the king of Israel “Go” for the Lord will give Ramoth Gilead into the king of Israel’s hand.

Me **thinking

Sometimes, I wonder, the bible says in a multitude of counsel, there is safety. Proverbs 11:14, Proverbs 15: 22. But 400 people gave the wrong counsel. **

Yet Jehoshaphat a wise king was not convinced and asked ‘Is there no longer a prophet of the Lord’ here whom we can enquire off.

The king of Israel then says there is a prophet left whom they can enquire of the LORD, but he hates him, because he never prophecies anything good about him. King Ahab says he is Micaiah son of Imlah.

Comments********************************

Positive speech indeed, King Ahab, like many men today in my country, are more concerned that the prophecy from the Lord is good than whether it is TRUE; he wanted someone who would affirm him. The bible says whatsoever things are TRUE (not good or positive), PURE, HONEST, LOVELY are the things we should think on. Philippians 4:8. **************************

At that point, King Ahab was not considering whether Micaiah’s prophecy in the past had been true or not. He wanted a good or positive prophecy.

So dressed in his royal robes with king Jehoshaphat, sitting by the entrance gate, he calls for a prophet who would affirm his decision to attack Ramoth Gilead. And Zedekiah gives a prophecy saying, “with these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed”.

As Micaiah approaches the King of Israel, he was told by the messenger, that the other prophets without exception are predicting success for the king that his words should line up with theirs and speak favorably. But Micaiah says as surely as the Lord tells me, I can tell only what the Lord tells me.

(Sometimes, the only words we have are the word of the lord he gives us – Micaiah understood this).

Micaiah was then asked to prophecy, and he said “I saw Israel scattered on the people who have no master. Let each one go home in peace.” In verse 16, we see the king demand for the truth (i.e. what is TRUE + th) in the name of the Lord. But when Micaiah told him what was true, Ahab told Jehoshaphat, that Micaiah’s prophecies were never anything good. In our day, we call it positive speech, but bad speech we call negative.

Micaiah in verse 19 says he hears the word of Elohim; I saw the LORD sitting on his throne with ALL the multitudes of heaven standing around him on the right and left and the lord said who enticed Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there? One of the multitudes in heaven suggested this and another that. Finally, the spirit (we do not know if the spirit is from the lord or not), came forward and stood before the LORD and said, “I will entice him”.

By what means, the Lord asked, and the spirit said, ‘I will go out and send deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets” he said, and the permitted it ‘Go and do it”. Micaiah further states the Lord decreed disaster for you. Zedekiah, one of prophets who prophesied falsely slapped Micaiah in his face. And Micaiah was put in prison and given nothing but bread and water like Jeremiah. (See Jeremiah 20: 1 – 6).

Micaiah said to the king “if you return safety the LORD has not spoken through me, mark my words”. Indeed, Ahab (King) was killed in Ramoth Gilead, even disguised as King Jehoshaphat. He died by a bow, hitting him between the two sections of his Armour.

Findings

In the last days, the lord said deception will increase; that causes people to err from the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:11

“If you can use anything, LORD, you can use ME!” JESUS! If you can speak through a DONKEY, you can USE ME! GLORY TO GOD! – @scottcervantes4876. God speaks through diverse ways.

We can’t even define what is good. (Since no one is good but God). how can we who are inadept define what is good or positive, only God can do this because only God is good. Luke 18: 19.

Deuteronomy 13 says if prophet tells you a sign/wonder and it happens but says let’s follow other gods and worship them do not listen to them. It’s a test from God, Purge the evil from among you.

1 Timothy 4:1(KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. The last days is likened to Jezebels time when Ahab was king.

The Lord allowed the deceiving spirit to confuse Ahab with the 400 prophets speaks really of the end of times. It shocks me that the Lord will allow the Devil to test Job and allow spirit to deceive the prophets and king Ahab whose reign with Jezebel is likened to the last days.

Do not Go Back – John 6: 60 -71 (Excerpt Kumuyi)

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 1 John 6: 68

One night in the early 1790s after another defeat in his 10-year England, William Wilberforce became discouraged. Tired and frustrated, he opened his Bible and began to leaf through it. A small piece of paper fell out and fluttered to the floor. It was a letter from John Wesley shortly before his death. Wilberforce read it again: “Unless the divine power has raised you up…. I see not how you can go through your glorious enterprise in opposing that (abominable practice of slavery), which is the scandal of religion, of England, and of human nature, Unless God has raised you up for this very thing, you will be worn out….”

As Jesus revealed more of the requirements for eternal life, many of his disciples left and walked no more with him. Instead of persuading those who left to come back, He turned to the twelve and asked, “Will ye also go away?” Peter responded on their behalf that they were resolved to keep following him because he is the Christ, the son of the living God who has the words of eternal life.

Following Christ becomes more challenging when persecution comes, and discouragement sets in. It was easier with the multitudes when Christ multiplied bread and fish to feed them. They were glad too with the healings and miracles. Soon, the journey towards the cross began, the pressure mounted, and the multitudes melted away. Only a few, genuine and determined disciples remained with him. After the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, only 120 believers made it to the prayer retreat in the upper room.

The cross represents the crossroads where our resolve to follow Christ is challenged with alternative options before us. It is the clearinghouse where counterfeit believers are detected and the means of confirmation of the genuineness of our faith. Now where do you stand? Will you bear your cross and follow the Lord; or will you turn and go back?

The true test of faith is the cross.

The test for fitness 2 – Judges 7: 1-8 (Pastor Kumuyi – Excerpts)

Judges 7: 7

And the Lord said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.

Available statistics reveal that we spend a lot of money on fitness and well-being – $828 billion globally in 2018. Being mindful of our physical wellness is important. The Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA (a hospital focused on integrated health care, education, and research) suggests that being active improves our mental health and energy levels, helps us sleep better and guard against disease.

But the same bible says bodily exercises profited little. 1 timothy 4: 8

“Gideon’s 300 soldiers” is a very remarkable story. It reveals God’s preference for quality rather than quantity in choosing people for his service. Gideon had a divine mandate to fight against the Midianites. He had given a clarion call to arms and 32,000 warriors had enlisted. The army seemed large enough, but God is not necessarily on the side of the heaviest battalions, certainly not when 22,000 of the lot were literally trembling for fear. The fearful were only too glad to decommission at the earliest opportunity; God does not use such people anyway.

For Gideon, facing up to an army was already a project of faith. But God was not done yet. He saw an equally disqualifying trait that Gideon could not see in the men that remained, and He was going to whittle down the army even further. The test was a very little act – drinking water after a long march. All but few of the 10,000 men forgot that they were soldiers. Dropping their weapons, they bowed face down into the water and lapped greedily to quench their thirst. 9700 were disqualified; only a mere 300 who quenched their thirst while remaining vigilant against possible enemy attack were deemed fit to fight in the battle.

In the battle for righteousness, God is looking for men and women who hold strong convictions against the glamorized moral pollution in society. if they will dare to stand, they are God’s choice.

Thought for the day.

Great qualifications are nothing where faith in God and courage to stand for the right is lacking.

The Battle Belongs To The Lord

The test for fitness – Matthew 21 & 22, Esther 1

Jesus tells two parables in Matthew 21: 28 -32, and Matthew 21: 33 – 43, Matthew 22: 1-14
In these parables we see 5 kinds of servants in the household, vineyard, and wedding banquet story.
There are two sons i.e. sons of God as we are through Christ Jesus: 1)
1)The first son who is like Jesus (Jesus said the greatest in the kingdom of God, should be a servant by serving, so like Jesus became a servant we all are as well. Paul said I became many things for the sake of the gospel, and Jesus is both a lion and a lamb, as well as a prophet and a savior – Matthew 23: 11-12) was sent to serve, he said I will not (as Jesus said Lord let this cup pass over me, he didn’t want to die, yet he did), but this servant repented.
2) The second son, likewise, refused to work in Gods vineyard.

Vineyards

Parable two:
Was about a householder who planted a vineyard and when the time of the fruit drew near (harvest – end of days), he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

1) The husbandmen kinds of servant who killed and stoned another. there is but one husband/groom the church has, and that is the lord Jesus, so these men acted as husbandmen were hence the reference Jesus made many shall come in my name saying I am he. Matthew 24:5 but as the antichrist will kill other servants and stone them. We know Jesus did not do this.

2)His son, Jesus came, and the husbandmen killed him.

Their Judgement according to Jesus:
When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

42 Jesus saith unto them, did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?

43 Therefore say I unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

These men rejected Jesus by first rejecting his word sent by the servant to receive the fruits in their seasons. So, the kingdom of God, not the Kingdom of heaven will be taken from them. The kingdom of God is already here, this why we say the lord’s prayer.

Then Matthew 22, which speaks on the importance of speaking the word of God to produce fruit of the spirit, God told his servant to get from the husbandmen. The parable of the two-son emphasis’s the willingness to work for God, the second to bring fruits and for God, so the kingdom of God would come and not for us as the husbandmen and the last would be the people who hear his call and do his will with the right type of garment. The follow the sequence, call forth laborers, plant the seed of God’s word and return to him wearing the right work clothes.

This is where from the husbandmen, being told the kingdom of God would be taken from them, we see what the kingdom of heaven is like and why it is taken from them.

The kingdom of heaven (not the kingdom of heaven), is a king (Elohim as King Xerxes, remember God told his people after they had killed his son in the last parable that he’d take the kingdom from the and give to another nation because they refused to release fruits). The whole story and big picture of the last 2 parables fit into this big one.) So, to make enter the kingdom of God we must answer God call and then give him fruits and produce fruits, which Israel (the Jewish one was trying to do until, they killed Jesus).

Back to the story, God prepares a wedding banquet (it’s such an irony Jesus first miracle was at a wedding to, turning water to wine because his mother asked him to do so: and he uses vineyard (which makes wine) and a wedding banquet to tell parables as well) for his sons (as we are his sons by adoption as Jesus is the son of God, we are the son of the father). He sends for the first set of servants to come for the banquet (Just as Ahasuerus, calls for Vashti), he tells these servants to come, but they don’t come. They pay no attention going about the king’s field and businesses to seize servants and mistreat them as the husbandmen.

God tells his servants, that since the banquet is ready, he called people he invited but they did not deserve to come. He asks them to go around the streets and corners to invite anyone you find. (So, the king disposed Vashti and asked they invite all young maidens to come) but as the king came, he noticed guests without the wedding dress, and he told his servant to tie them hand and foot to throw them out. (Esther, wedding dress was prayer, however beautiful stones are in the house of God, without prayer, it is no longer a house of prayer as Jesus called it). Because many are called but few are chosen. I challenge you as the parables of all parables says in Luke 18 vs 1 “18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint:”. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16 – 18. Prayer is fitness. Ephesians 6:18.

Prayer point:

Pray for the writer as well, that they strike a blow to their body and make it their slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. (as I do myself).

Pray that hearer or reader read and are edified. (Love your neighbor)

Mr. Kutuka states that once our sins reach heaven, then heaven sees it & shuts up heaven (2 Chronicles 7: 13). He likens what happens to a locust as a disaster. And says when people start taking pleasure in wrongdoing, leading to one falling to more sins.

He states that you cannot change God, only our views do, nothing we do will make God change, he still hates sin; this is why he sent his son to die for our SINS, only those who do the will of God will be saved. the truth of God, so we find it hard to do, but we have grace to live above sin. He says sometimes we use sentiment, so we do not turn away from sin, but we can ask God to take the problem from you. Habbakuk 2:2. Was Gods reply to Habbakuk that he as God won’t change his mind on the judgement of Israel.

When we live in sin it builds a house in us and rules over us, not when we sin, it is wickedness against God. And thus, Joseph says how can I do this great wickedness against God. Genesis 39:9. When sin becomes pleasurable to one, it’s a danger, because the devil goes to accuse you and though the mercy of God speaks a constant accusation will lead to sin increasing allowing judgement from God. And we know the wages of SIN is death.

He says in Jeremiah 29:10-14 the Israelites were in Babylon for 70 years. At the moment, he says most of us are already in Babylon, some as Habakkuk who complain and some who oppress and do wickedly. He felt Habakkuk as a prophet was self-righteous because he complained.
And thus, says we are all in Babylon, where we need to break out of her sins. Just as Jesus says, “come out of her my people and be separate” Matt 6: 33 by seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. God is above the standard of the world; he wants to give us all things pertaining to life and godliness. He says God still punishes sin. But he is not saying you are a sinner or unrepentant or less of a Christians, but if he punishes sin through his son (Jesus), so we might life through his son, then in Christ, he can punish sin with us, who are in Christ as we are too sons of God (Barabbas). He says God doesn’t withhold good things from his children, but our lifestyle hinders us from receiving it. No good thing will he withhold from them that LOVE HIM. Psalm 84: 11. Sentiments do not move God, neither does it draw us to God. Instead of complaining, why not challenge God so he will open the windows of heaven.

Prayer
For the power of separation, to walk with God to be restored in our lives.

Payday is Coming – Jeremiah 25:15 -29, Luke 21:6.

The king comes to you, daughter of Zion. I often wondered how Jacob wrestled with God and prevailed still. Because this is the aggression point, we all need pick up a point during distressing moments.

Luke 21: 5-6 starts off with the destruction of the temple and we know the house of God holds the body of Christ i.e. temple of the living God (which us a body of believers). Quoted: “Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said, “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”
Jesus states that one of the signs of end times would be as stone (we are living stones 1 Peter 2:5) being thrown down in the last days.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-8
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
So, the falling away of the church must happen i.e. the great apostacy must happen for the lawless one to be revealed. Jesus said stones will fall away and be thrown, Simon peter was told he was the rock on which the church will be built, and the gates of hell will not prevail against him (Matthew 16: 18), Jesus is the stone the builders rejected, and David used a stone to defeat Goliath, a living stone. A rock is a bigger version of a stone. So, the church is not to fall, yet in the last days it will.

29 See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword on all who live on the earth, declares the Lord Almighty.’ – Jeremiah 25:29

Excerpt from Kumuyi

On December 25th, 1908, a newspaper published in Messina printed a parody against God, daring Him to make Himself known by sending an earthquake. Three days later, the city and its surrounding district were devastated by a terrible quake that killed 84,000 people! Payday is coming for all. It is the duty of a Christian to prepare for God’s judgement.

The passage under consideration unveils the decision of God against Babylon. Babylon would be destroyed for her wickedness and cruelty, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Jeremiah was to warn of this impending judgement. He was also assigned by God to inform people that the cup of his wrath was soon to be poured on Israel and other nations like Egypt, Edom and the Phillistine’s.

Judgement is coming. God has appointed a day in which he will judge the world for her sins. The present world system will not escape the judgement of God. All human deeds are on record and there would be no room for falsification of facts. Every action of man will be brought to light. Boys and girls, and all adults of every race and in every continent will face the consequences of their professions. The treatment we give to the word of God will determine our eternal destiny. Therefore, believers should not relax in their evangelistic outreaches because God judgement remains unchanging for all unrepentant soul from one generation to the next. Persecutors of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ will not escape the wrath of God except they repent. The train of Gods judgement is coming slowly but surely, and it is important for all and sundry to be prepared.

Detestable things in the temple of God. Ezekiel 8, 9 and 2 Corinthians 6: 14-18

I opened these accounts separately in the same day, telling me about the same thing with my devotional and bible, coincidence who knows. Something had been plaguing me, so I realized it is not about me, I had somehow made it into being about the things I wanted above what God wanted.

Ezekiel 8 gives us a big picture of how all parts of the temple looks like the external temple (the church – the one we see), inner temple (our bodies – individual members), and the entrance to the temple (the heart of the church and believers) which was evaded in Ezekiel 8. First the idolatry spread doing detestable things in the sanctuary, then they were convinced “the lord did not see them, and the lord had forsaken the Land” (External Temple – the church). Then they did things in secret and said surely the Lord will not see it (Internal – the body), and then the glory of God departed from the temple, Ezekiel 10 (Entrance – the heart).

Excerpts W.F Kumuyi’s Devotional titled the Danger of Compromise

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6: 14

Neville Chamberlain was known for this policy of appeasement. As the prime minister of Britain before the World War II, he knew the country was still weary from the First World War and wanted to avoid a European war at all costs. The problem was that at the same time Hitler and his army. So, in September of 1938, he reached an agreement with Hitler that resulted in the Munich Pact. Italy and France joined Britain in agreeing to surrender parts of Czechoslovakia to Germany in return for Hitler’s agreement not to invade any other European country. Chamberlain confidentially came home proclaiming, “Peace in our time.”

They really believed that by giving INTO Hitlers demands, he would stop or limit his aggression. But Hitler arrogantly ignored the pact, taking most of Czechoslovakia and invading Poland. The Munich Pact is now a universal symbol of the failure of the policy of appeasement.

Today’s text calls believers to avoid sinful compromise with unbelievers. Spiritually, the believer and the unbeliever are so different that they should no longer be yoked together in intimate relationships or fellowship. Any comprise between them in marriage, fellowship, partnership or intimate friendship is bound to have dire consequences.

Compromising your faith as a believer can be very dangerous. The Scripture warns us to avoid compromise in all matters especially in marriage, business partnership and worship. The example Jehoshaphat and Solomon remind us of the sad end of compromise with unbelievers (1 Kings 11: 1-6, 2 Chronicles 20: 35-37)

2 Corinthians 6: 14 gives us another warning to avoid idolatry, not to be yoked together with unbelievers because righteousness and wickedness have nothing in common. What harmony is there between Christ and Belial or what does a believer have in common with a non-believer, what agreement between God’s temple and IDOLs as in Ezekiel 8, 9.

The Lord lives with US and walk among us, and I will be my God and I your people, come out of them and be separate (Revelation 18 vs 4, 1 Corinthians 6:17, Ezekiel 9: 4). Touch no unclean thing and you will receive me. I will be a Father to your sons and daughters saith the LORD Almighty.

Summary

The External temple – the church is destroyed by detestable practices and shrines to idols, internally – the body of Christ (individuals) it is destroyed by what it worships, and entrance to the heart is where we mourn to ungodly desires – the two women and Tammuz (golden idol – money). Be dead to the world and its ungodly systems.

Have you gone into compromise consciously or unconsciously? Then it is not too late to come out from the dangerous relationship stands from Christ and holiness.

His glory first fills the HOUSE then the TEMPLE (the body) – then HEART (changing individual hearts) – Worship to the Lord.

For Your Name Is Holy - I Enter The Holy of Holies - Paul Wilbur - Lyrics

The holies of holies have 3 compartments – the house, the body, and the heart are changed through worship. In a worship arena where musician sings it takes the same direction.

Fun Facts

The only time Jesus got angry and acted upon it was when he was in the temple, where he saw them buying and selling. Matthew 21:12-17, people say why was Jesus angry it was Just selling; And I am like you are man, if you see your wife sleeping with a man or whoring would you remain calm when her body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT) is defiled. Luckily, when Jesus realized he was born under the law and born of a woman under the law (Galatians 4:4), he calmed down. Also, he was stripped of his glory, and took on the nature of a bond servant, by becoming like a man. It’s interesting to see a bond servant is under bondage of the law and has no authority because he has not fulfilled the law, and a servant has no rights nor authority Philippians 2: 7-21. When the Pharisees asked him what authority he had to throw those things out, Jesus came back to himself; understanding he had no authority at that time; he said he’d build the temple back in 3 days; fulfilling the scripture the zeal of my father’s house consumed me. Psalm 69: 9, hence where the insight for 1 Peter 2:18-3:7 came from.

The house of the lord (The church), The temple of the lord (the bodies in the church).

1 Corinthians 6: 4

Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
